Supervisor/Trainers Professional Development

The AGPTP guidelines identify that GP Supervisors/Trainers need to participate in 3 days of relevant professional development annually. QRME facilitates this by organising two 1-day workshops each year.

GP Supervisors/Trainers should attend one of the QRME workshops and other relevant activities of their own choosing (eg: RACGP, ACRRM or RDAQ conferences; clinical update workshops). Advice about the suitability of a particular activity can be sought from the Superviser Liaison Officer (SLO) or the Senior Medical Educator (SME).

QRME subsidises some of the costs of attending the QRME Supervisors/Trainers workshops. Contact QRME for details of the assistance available.
