100 Radiology Cases Now Online!
ACRRM's world-leading online teaching and learning platform, RRMEO, now has 100 cases available for viewing in its Radiology Online resource.ACRRM's Online Services manager, Lex Lucas, said that the case studies had been developed by Dr Tony Lamont, who is consultant radiologist to the Townsville Hospital.
"The multiple-choice-question scenarios can be viewed and considered randomly or grouped under particular topics such as abdomen, hips, chest and musculoskeletal," Lex explains. "We have also enlisted Dr Mark Phillips, the director of paediatrics at Mater Children's Hospital, to provide expert feedback in our online chat room."
Lex said Dr Lamont has oprovided a wealth of radiology knowledge (and some quirky trivia) in clickouts attached to most cases. Radiology Online - supported by the Department of Health and Ageing through its Medical Specialist Outreach Assistance Program - is free to ACRRM members, rural doctors, and RRMEO subscribers. You can enrol at www.rrmeo.com by clicking the "Educational Inventory" button and searching for "Radiology Online", then clicking "Enrol Now".
If you're already enroled, simply click on 'Radiology Online' from your "Current Enrolments" and then select the "online cases" button.
